About Us

Vie (pronounced 'vee') meaning 'life' in French underscores the core value of the physiotherapy and Pilates services provided to our clients. At Vie Physiotherapy our focus is on treating every patient as a family member - by getting to know them holistically, and not just as an injured person. We believe everyone has a unique story to tell about what brought them to us.

Passionate about preventing pain from injuries, we take pride in our approach to provide treatment and exercise plans to enhance our client's quality of life and overall wellbeing, so they can spend more time with their loved ones. We focus on empowering our clients with the tools they need to live a pain free life and reduce the chances of injury.

About the Physiotherapist

Kuk-Jin (B.Physio) is a registered Physiotherapist with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and a qualified Pilates instructor through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
He graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy, and has had over 6 years of clinical experience in private practice handling musculoskeletal injuries, injury prevention, Pilates, workers compensation and aged care. Kuk-Jin works relentless to support his clients to have the optimum quality of Vie ('Life') with his educational advice and treatment plans in his consultations. Kuk Jin's passion for prevention and bringing life to his patient's lifestyle came from his experience working in workers compensation. He has seen many patients go through significant losses, difficulties and stresses after an injury resulting in prolonged pain and relationship breakdowns.

Kuk-Jin specialises in treating pains and injuries in lower-back, neck, knees and shoulders. He is also a certified Pilates instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institution (APPI) and integrates pilates in his treatment.

Outside of work, Kuk-Jin is a husband and a father of a newborn daughter. He enjoys playing tennis and bouldering, continuously seeking ways to improve his performance using his physio knowledge. Kuk Jin also teaches children how to swim as his way to give back to the community.
